Drew and I got called in at the last minute to shoot this video after the previous team “bowed out”. We met Kairee, Mike and Toby the night before, visited a couple of the locations, then showed up bright and early (well, 10:00am) and knocked it out. Alex Perez and Brian McGinn crewed for us, very relaxed shoot, everyone had a great time.
Got to do some hand-held for the first time in a while, also lots of jib work and creep-dolly on the short telephoto, pulling focus Jedi-style. I'm never happy these days until the light kits are all empty and the circuits are all full, but once we were set up we shot fast, just tweaking from setup to setup.
